Manage and Display Stock Visibility in Your Shop

Providing transparency on product availability helps Buyers make informed purchasing decisions. In Turis, you can control how stock levels are displayed in your shop. Choose between a simple traffic light indicator or a detailed stock level display to best suit your needs.

Accessing the Products Section

To manage product settings, start by clicking on ⚙️ Settings in the menu on the left-hand side. Then, click on Products.

Once inside the Products section, you will see nine subcategories:

  • New products
  • Out of stock
  • Backorders
  • Stock visibility
  • Sort options
  • Product card
  • Shipping motivator
  • Buyer data export
  • Favorites

The following sections explain how to configure and customize Stock visibility.

Enabling Stock Visibility

By default, stock visibility is turned off. To enable it, navigate to Settings > Products > Stock visibility.

Tick the box "Yes" to activate stock visibility. This setting allows you to choose between two display options:

  • Traffic Light Indicator: Display stock levels as color-coded indicators (green, yellow, red) based on availability.
  • Detailed Stock Levels: Show the exact number of items in stock for each product.

Customizing Stock Indicators

If you choose the Traffic Light Indicator, you can define thresholds for each stock level:

  • High stock level (Green): Set the number of units that qualify as “high” stock.
  • Medium stock level (Yellow): Define when stock should be marked as “medium.”
  • Low stock level (Red): Indicate the threshold for “low” stock.

Once set, click "Save" to apply your changes.

What Does It Look Like in My Shop?

If you enable the Traffic Light Indicator, products in your shop will display a color-coded stock level indicator.

If you opt for Detailed Stock Levels, the exact number of units available will be shown on each product.

Both options can also be combined.

By using this feature, you provide Buyers with valuable insight into stock availability, improving their shopping experience and managing expectations effectively.
