Highlight New Products with a Label
Featuring new products in your shop can help attract attention from Buyers and increase engagement with your latest offerings. In Turis, you can easily add a "New" label to highlight recently added products. This guide walks you through how to enable and customize the New Product label to best suit your brand.
Accessing the Products Section
To manage product settings, start by clicking on ⚙️ Settings in the menu on the left-hand side. Then, click on Products.
Once inside the Products section, you will see nine subcategories:
- New products
- Out of stock
- Backorders
- Stock visibility
- Sort options
- Product card
- Shipping motivator
- Buyer data export
- Favorites

New Product Label
Turis allows you to highlight new products with a "New" label, making it easier for Buyers to identify recently added items in your shop.
Setting Up the New Product Label
- Navigate to Settings > Products > New products.
- A settings window will appear where you can define the label duration, text, and colors.
Customizing the Label
- Duration: Set how many days the label remains active on a product. The default setting is 7 days.
- Text: Customize the label text instead of using "New!" You have a maximum of 10 characters to personalize it.
- Colors: Adjust the background and text colors of the label to match your brand’s identity.
- Click the color box to open the color picker.
- Drag the color selector to choose a shade or enter a Hex color code for precise branding.
Once your customizations are complete, remember to click "Save" to apply the changes.
Applying the Label to a Product
To enable the label on a specific product:
- Go to 📦 Products.
- Select the product you want to feature.
- Tick the checkbox labeled "This is a new product".
- Click Save.
The label will appear in the upper-left corner of the product card, making it visible to your Buyers.
